Wallet

To ensure a seamless experience when using the SOON Devnet, you'll need both an EVM wallet and an SVM wallet. The EVM wallet is for transactions on the base layer, and the SVM wallet is for transactions on the SOON L2.

Before you can use SOON, setting up your wallet and configuring an RPC node in advance is necessary. Unfortunately, Phantom Wallet currently doesn't support setting up an RPC node, which means it cannot be used in this context. We will detect this automatically and bypass it.

We recommend using a Backpack wallet, which is compatible with the required setup. By preparing both your EVM and SVM wallets, you'll be well-prepared for any upcoming transactions or interactions.

To download the Backpack wallet, visit: Backpack

Set up SOON Devnet Using Custom RPC on Backpack Wallet

You can connect to the SOON Devnet by adding a custom RPC in the Backpack wallet under the Solana network. This workaround allows you to start bridging in your assets using Backpack. Here are the steps:

  • After adding or creating your SVM wallet in Backpack, choose Solana as your network.

  • Click on your account 'Settings'.

  • Click on 'Solana'.

  • Click on 'RPC Connection'.

  • Click on 'Custom'.

Now you could visit SOON Devnet Bridge to bridge your assets.

Nightly Wallet

Set up SOON Devnet Using Custom RPC on Nightly Wallet

You can set up the SOON Devnet by adding a custom RPC in the Nightly wallet under the Solana network. This workaround allows you to start bridging in your assetss using Nightly. Here are the steps:
